BlackBerry Limited, a Canadian telecommunication and wireless equipment manufacturer also called as Research In Motion Limited is known for its unique features Smartphones and tablets. Blackberry, one of the renowned device maker has been going through a tough time last year. The sinking company is planning high strategies to get back lost position. The mobile manufacturer has been fighting in the market dominated by rivals Samsung, Google and Apple.
For Blackberry 10 earlier this month company had avail an update to its Twitter mobile app but has now called back just a week after its release after getting a number of blackberry users’ complaints about many bugs.
On its official site BlackBerry has issued an update about how users can downgrade to the older version from the present version of the Blackberry 10 app. The company states on its website that it is finding the main cause for such an issue by investigating and will announce when the new version is available again for users to download.
The Twitter update10.2.2 had brought several pretty improvements to the app such as BBM connectivity, timeline photo previews, to reply within tweets, a must boost to the search function and many more.
BlackBerry has been on a slow side this past year competing against Apple iOS and Android OS for market share. Such downgrading of app can irritate the users and can lead to sure loss for blackberry. According to the latest financial reports, BlackBerry customer based drop nearly 68 % over the past 2-3 years, from 250,000 to 80,000. Blackberry, fighting mobile maker has rolled out a lot of free updates to their users as a strategy to retain its customers. After 2013 year end it will start asking money for service. Recently from investors the company has got a US $1 Billion funding that might help handset maker get back in the market.
